Scripture:

ROMANS 15:1-16:27, 2 CORINTHIANS 1:1-2:4

To The Strong In Faith

We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves.

Romans 15:1

My Takeaways

Something Old

Paul is speaking to followers of Jesus we he says:

  • Be considerate of others who are sensitive to things of the Lord.
  • Live to please others, this is what Jesus did.
  • Help others do what is right.
  • Build each other up in the faith.

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5-6

More encouragement from Paul to

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.
Philippians 2:3-4 (NKJV)

Something New

I wonder which Mary Paul was sending his greeting to.

Give my greetings to Mary, who has worked so hard for your benefit.
Romans 26:6

Something to do

My faith is robust, so help me, Lord, to be the hands, feet, and heart of You… to encourage others until they are robust in their faith.
