Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai:“Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same. And then, though it is against the law, I will go in to see the king. If I must die, I must die.”

Silence doesn’t mean God isn’t there. Notice that even prayer isn’t mentioned in the story, only fasting.

Silence can shout if we let it.
After seventeen years of reading the Bible, maybe the biggest aha and duh moment for me… Esther’s story fell within the returning of the exiles and rebuilding of The Temple.
How in the world have I missed that connection?
