This is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies says: “I will send war, famine, and disease upon them and make them like bad figs, too rotten to eat.

Jeremiah 29:17

How is the Lord currently pursuing me?

• Famine
• War
• Disease
• Horrors
• Relocation

Is what I am experiencing now the grace of a loving God, pursuing me, and drawing me back into a right relationship with Him because I have not heeded His words?

I pursue God through: 

• Studying His Word.
• Obedience to His Word.
• Intimacy with Him in prayer.

You are a burden. The LORD says He will abandon you.

Am I a burden to the Lord? It makes me ache to think of the possibility.

I wonder if such words mattered to them. Would such words matter to me?

“Suppose one of the people or one of the prophets or priests asks you, ‘What prophecy has the LORD burdened you with now?’ You must reply, ‘You are the burden! The LORD says he will abandon you!’
Jeremiah 23:33

Pursue and please God. Don’t be a burden to Him.
