Mark 13:13

Standing firm in our faith and for the cause of Christ becomes increasingly more difficult every day.

To stand firm we must:

• Know God’s truth, His Word, so we can recognize the false that is being propagandized to us every day.
• Have a pattern of obedience, so we will not be swayed to compromise our beliefs.
• Diligently commit ourselves to delighting the Lord, so we won’t be seduced by the delights of the world.

Mark 13:1-23

The disciples heard the grim details of what would happen in the future. I wonder how they felt. How did what they heard change how they live life? How would hearing such things change the way I live my life? Wait; I have heard these things. Am I living my life as if these words will actually happen?

Stay focused on staying power in the faith against all that draw away from God.
