Keep On

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

Matthew 7:7

My Takeaways

Something Old

Keep on: to continue in an action, course

  • Keep on asking-you will receive, God’s best; maybe not exactly what you asked for.
  • Keep on seeking-you will find; God’s best, maybe not exactly what you were seeking.
  • Keep on knocking-your door will be opened, to God’s best maybe not exactly the door you wanted opened.

Keep on asking, seeking, and knocking and expect the unexpected, the impossible, the better than you could ever imagine, and accept any bumps along the way because our God is trustworthy. He’s the Way Maker, Promise Keeper, and the God of immeasurably more.

Something New

There is a gate to Heaven and a highway to hell. Never noticed the extreme difference in these two pathways.

“You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14

Something to do

Keep on asking, seeking, and knocking… and looking for what God will do.
