The LORD said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place where I will rest my feet. I will live here forever among the people of Israel. They and their kings will not defile my holy name any longer by their adulterous worship of other gods or by honoring the relics of their kings who have died.

Ezekiel 43:7

Why all the details of The Temple that will one day be?

To make them aware 

• Of the depravity they had reached.
• Of the length God will reach to restore them
• That God wasn’t finished with them.

Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
1 Corinthians 3:16 (ESV) 

We are the Temple of the Living God. His Spirit dwells in the heart of each Believer. His Spirit:

• Convicts us of sin, so we can know the depravity that we have reached without a relationship with Christ.
• Reaches us wherever we are, so we will know the length that God will go to restore us.
• Constantly reveals truth, so that we will know that God isn’t finished with us.

I wasn’t aware that The Temple narrowed with each level.

Each level was wider than the one below it, corresponding to the narrowing of the Temple wall as it rose higher. A stairway led up from the bottom level through the middle level to the top level.
Ezekiel 41:7

• Live in step with Holy Spirit.
• Accept responsibility for my sin.
• Submit to the work He wants to do in my life.
• Celebrate the lengths He will go in order for me to be like Christ.
• Praise Him for not giving up on me.
