You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

Like the Israelites, we have inevitable troubles and trials ahead of us (not judgement). Let’s follow the same counsel the Lord gives His people.

Trust and fixing our thoughts are prerequisites to peace.

• Trust: to be confident or sure -- be bold (confident, secure, sure), put confidence, (make to) hope, (put, make to) trust.
• Fix: to lean upon or take hold of

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus

• Misplaced trust will betray.
• Mislead thoughts will deceive.

But You O LORD,
