Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection. Do not add to his words, or he may rebuke you and expose you as a liar.Â
Proverbs 30:5-6
These verses… they always challenge me… they are always part of my prayer utterances.
O God, I beg two favors from you; let me have them before I die. First, help me never to tell a lie. Second, give me neither poverty nor riches! Give me just enough to satisfy my needs.
Proverbs 30:7-8
May I always recognize my weaknesses. Â I love this quote regarding Proverbs 30:7-9.
“The author recognizes his weaknesses, both in his tendency to forget God when life is too easy and to turn in desperation away from God when life is too hard.” -  Duane Garrett
Cautions from a wise man:
Don’t add to it.
Don’t listen to, or give credence to those who add to it.
How do I avoid this? I don’t know my Bible like the experts.
Then become an “expert.”
Handle God’s Word with care. It is pure and without error.
