The picture of God looking to and fro for faithful followers should shake us up.
We learn that trusting someone or something instead of the Lord:Â
Thus says the LORD: "Cursed [is] the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD.

Live in complete alliance with the Lord. Trust only Him, even when it is most difficult.
